This is charcoal based.. which means the canvas was coated in charcoal & a white eraser was used to chisel out the white portions
This drawing is black & white charcoal drawn on gray tint paper.. the concept of the drawing is based around the idea of Christo. a famous artist who wraps objects.. we were told to trade wrapped objects in class, draw them & then unwrap them & draw them in their appearance.

This graphite drawing was a process drawing.. each day when we came into the studio we had to rearrange objects and leave ghost images behind on the canvas.. it shows process in the process ;)
This still life is an ink wash piece. each stroke on the canvas is permanent.. there is no room for error or erasing
